Do you want to drive digital transformation in the energy industry?
Access to sustainable energy is the single biggest leverage point to bend the climate curve. The energy industry is in the midst of the biggest transition the industry has seen in decades. Climate change and digitalisation are changing the rules of the game on both the technology and market side. This is where Sigholm is making a difference.
The strategic choices are many, the technology development is fast and the complexity is high, therefore we are convinced that a system perspective and the ability to highlight opportunities and challenges from multiple perspectives is required to solve the industry's challenges. Therefore, at Sigholm we have gathered passionate world improvers with backgrounds in energy, system development, project and change management. Together we support customers in the energy industry to take on the exciting journey ahead in an inspired and committed way.
Even if we don't know exactly where the development will go, we are convinced that it will be digital. Smart energy supply is the backbone of a sustainable society and for actors and technical systems to interact, we need to put data at the centre. We now need more driven engineers with skills and abilities at the intersection of energy and digitalisation.
As a digital energy engineer at Sigholm, you will largely be able to shape your own role, but it will certainly include work on developing and delivering our digital services for control and optimisation of power and district heating plants, as well as working in consulting assignments to support customers in their journey to become more data-driven. Within the framework of our platform Aurora By Sigholm, it is about being involved in building digital twins of the customers' plant. Based on the customers' unique conditions, we develop a model that is tuned and provides support in both being able to plan a better driving cycle and follow up on outcomes to continuously improve and learn. We help to streamline both production and distribution, which saves money and contributes to a better environment. With a user-centred interface in our software, we create commitment and participation among employees to further take responsibility for the sustainability and performance of the facilities. We also support customers in specific energy technical analyses and investigations and in making available and managing large amounts of data with modern technology to create insight and value.
We are looking for you who have a couple of years of work experience and expertise in energy system calculations and CHP production as well as digital skills such as programming, Data Engineering and/or Data Science. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement for the position.
Sigholm as a workplace
Sigholm as a company is also in constant development. Together we are shaping the workplace of the future, where we place great emphasis on enabling each other to influence our own development and work situation. We are convinced that people who feel good perform well.
We want the time you invest in your work to be value-creating and meaningful. This benefits you, us, our customers and the environment. We spend a lot of time creating processes that are digitally integrated into our working day. We seek to enable an organisation with decentralised ownership by creating simple but clear rules to make it easy to collaborate with others internally. This means that you, like all Sigholmare, will follow certain basic principles and processes for how work and collaborations are documented. A high degree of transparency contributes both to more efficient working methods and enables participation and learning. Through automation, we want to minimise the time needed for repetitive tasks. With us, you can, and are expected to, take great responsibility for both your own and the group's development. We believe you will be inspired by being an active part of building culture and the company.Read more about what it's like to work at Sigholm
